Michael T. Shiring
Mike concentrates his practice in all aspects of litigation. He has successfully represented individuals and commercial clients in diverse areas of commercial litigation in both Pennsylvania and Federal Court, as well as in front of state and federal administrative bodies. His experience encompasses all phases from the initial investigation of the claim or defense through appellate proceedings. Mike's litigation practice also extends to defending the property entitlement of landowners and developers and he has successfully litigated complex regulatory issues in this context.
Before joining the firm, Mike served as in-house counsel for Aqua America, Inc. where his practice encompassed all aspects of corporate, regulatory, and environmental law. He also served as both an active duty U.S. Marine and reserve Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps. Mike is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and certified to practice before the Department of Veteran's Affairs.
